What is a buffer tank?

A buffer tank is an element of a heating installation. It supports domestic hot water preparation, helps maintain stable temperature and combines the functions of a heat exchanger, hydraulic separator and accumulation tank.

Standard NOEL models are available with one, two or three copper coils. Depending on the model, they can cooperate with a gas boiler, solar system, heat pump, district heating or other heat sources.
