The dual-function tank is a unique solution that combines two independent tanks in one housing: one for domestic hot water (DHW) and one for central heating.
As a result, the system takes up much less space while maintaining full performance and installation flexibility.

Ideal for small boiler rooms and modern heating systems
The dual-function tank works perfectly in rooms where every centimetre matters.
This solution was designed for installations where both a DHW storage tank and a central heating buffer are required, for example with:
- heat pumps,
- pellet boilers,
- hybrid systems with several heat sources.
Thanks to its compact design, it does not require two separate tanks, which simplifies installation and saves space in the boiler room.
Kaloris DUO functionality
Upper tank – Domestic Hot Water (DHW)
- It guarantees high comfort of use and water hygiene.
- Heating system protection: It stabilises the temperature in the installation, preventing system overheating and reducing the risk of failure.
- Fuel savings: Thanks to even heat distribution, it minimises fuel consumption and optimises the operation of boilers and heat pumps.
- Maintenance-free operation: It operates fully automatically, without the need for user intervention.
Lower tank – Central Heating
It acts as a hydraulic separator, enabling several heat sources to be connected with different consumers:
radiators, underfloor heating, wall heating or cooling systems.
- It can operate in both heating and cooling mode.
- Temperature range:
- 20 °C – for cooling,
- 30 °C – 80 °C – for heating.
